"Wikipedia defines Writer's block as a phenomenon involving temporary loss of ability to begin or continue writing, usually due to lack of inspiration or creativity."

Ive been sitting at this table for 5 hours now, trying to come up with ideas for my design project but to no avail. It got me into thinking about the time in high school when me and Hani would get out of writing our debate speeches by saying that we are having a writer's block. And Mr Shamser being a nice guy that he is would let us off the hook.

I wonder if Garry Tonks would be as forgiving if I come to studio tomorrow bearing pieces of paper with doodle-dee-doos that really amount to NOTHING meaningful and say that Im experiencing designer's block. Somehow I doubt it.

Oh snap.

Bundle of joy

1:21 PM

Last night I slept having a foul mood. People say dont sleep angry. Well, I was seething. At no one in particular. Its just these couple of days I was feeling lower than low (Refer: Buses and trains). And last night I guess, I was at my utmost bottom pit of emotion.

This morning everything took a 180 turn. I woke up feeling nonchalant at first until I decided to try on an old pair of jeans which at the beginning of the year couldnt even zip halfway. No shit. I did gain 8 kilos last year. And whaddya know, today it zipped and buttoned with a little bit of space around the waist! O glory, glory praise the Lord its a freakin' miracle I tell you!

By this time I was already singing James Brown's "I feel good" and doing a little victory dance around the room when Shamaz broke the news that duit scholar dah masuk. After that, I was beyond cloud nine really, with little chance of ever coming back to land.

3/4 of the day has passed and I am still grinning like a fool in love, giddy to the point of being gedik. The whole day I was smilling left, right and centre. I think strangers even look at me funny but I dont care. Nothing is gonna rain on my parade. No amount of pompous Koreans, or boring-as lecturers, or friends bailing out on me can bring me down. No sirree, not today. Not even the old, drunken prick who threw a terrorist comment in my direction on the bus today can. Whatever, dude, whatever. Its all goooood. Im looking down my nose on you. Im wearing my 3-inch-high high heel boots and I feel tall, I feel skinny. Its all good mate.

Suprising what a pair of jeans and 4 figures in your bank account can do to you really. I guess that is why they call it mood swings. You get down to a certain level of shittiness on some days, then something will force you up as high as the sky again. I hope I'll stay afloat longer this time around. The view sure does look nicer up here.

:))))))

True Wannabes! :)
Saturday, July 21, 2007
2:36 PM

On our supposedly last night in Sydney, we decided to make a video of the song Wannabe by Spice Girls. It makes sense as the song was our soundtrack for the whole road trip. More so that the Spice Girl is making a reunion plus we are crazy bout One Tree Hill. If you have not seen the final episode, click here. The dance move is a copy from that. Dont mind the clumsy dancing, we only took 2 takes. :)

The video is a collaboration with the infamous
GedikQueens feat Jams. Sadly, Syai and Hawa couldnt join us coz the first one was sick and latter was sleeping. Next one when you guys come down to NZ ya! Thanks goes to Kak Long for the editting.

I would laugh everytime I watch this video. Because I love these girls to bits. :)

Buses and Trains
1:26 AM

All my life I had been this kind of person who walks on the sidewalk. Always watching cars pass by fast beside me. Or the kind which sits on a platform, missing the trains. I always set a pace for myself. Comfortably walking or running at my own time and speed. I am happy that way.

But one day last week, I suddenly found myself lost. As cliche as it sounds, I feel like I am on a super fast train, and I cant get off. Ive never felt this way before. This down, this unhappy, this unsure of myself. What driven me to feel as such, I dont know. Could be my half-assed first sem grade, or that I am broke as a beggar or the back to school blues. Could be pms or every single of those things put together. But I hate it. You know the feeling like when you fell asleep on a train and when you finally woke up you panicked if you have missed your stop? Thats how I feel. It scares me, this feeling. Not knowing where you are. Scarier yet, not knowing the reason why you are there the first place.

Sigh. How do I get off this train? Seriously, how did I get here?

Whoa! I was internet deprived for just three weeks, and he went and grew out a mini-mohawk! Smarted gile kot! *drools* I said this once and Im saying it again: Hair really does make or break the features of a person. So do invest on a good hairdresser ok? Ok.

Anywho Im back in Auckland. Brought back home an empty purse but a nose filled with mucus. Saya demam. Dont have the mood to upload pictures or write anythg long about the vacay yet. Come again tomorrow. Or the day after. Or the day after that day after kalau rajin. Im off to hide under my dearly missed covers. And dream of hawks. *sneezes* Good night.

Dork in distress

If I could be anything, I think I'd be a pretty stealthy ninja. Pretty and stealthy. I'd rob Giapo, Kapiti and Movenpick, Wendy's and Baskin Robbins. Maybe New Zealand Natural. I'd steal ice cream and hugs. And attention. Because that's how I roll.

You think you know me, but think harder. *KEBABOOM disapparate into dust mysteriously*

Oh I occasionally speak Harry Potter.-.-
