These past couple of weeks had been a whirlwind of emotion, to say the least. So much have happened, but lets skip the bad, ugly stuff and get to what matters; Im going home in 2 days. To be honest, I hadnt feel excited about it until today. Reasons being; my dislike for packing still has no boundaries and Im not looking forward to leave this, umm friend of mine.
But today, while doing my routine shopping for people back home I started to feel excited again. I love the feeling you get when you buy something for another person that you know they'll like. The look of joy in their faces...Oh what fun it must be to
ride in a one horse open sleigh be Santa Claus! Heh, they're already playing christmas carols in the malls today, and I've already admitted how I feel about christmas.
My favourite holidays in this order:
1. Eid (both fitr and haj)
2. Christmas
3. Valentines Day
4. My birthday
Well, the last two are not holidays but still, any occasions that include giving and receiving presents are holidays in my book. :D And I should add that anyone who thinks that Valentines Day should not be celebrated because we should celebrate love everyday etc, is a tool. And a cheapskate. Dump his ass.
Anywayyy where was I, aahh yes, home. Other things to be excited about, not in order: halal takeaways, friends, family vacays, my preordered David Archuleta CD...
Yes, I pre-ordered and am buying a CD. I didnt know they still even make those anymore lol. Btw you are listening to one of the tracks from David's album. (Download it, it is awesome) Ahh if only I could capture his voice in a pillowcase, I'd hug it to sleep every night, and caress it, and kiss it, and make love to it, and emm yeah you get the idea. A singing archu-pillow, now anyone wants to get me that for favourite holiday number 4?
..homecooked meals, decent shopping malls, cable tv...
Ok, Im running out of things to ramble. Hopefully I'll come up with more reasons or I'll never finish my packing. Hmph, hate.
