So I made a vow not to get invested into American Idol this year because honestly it can be darn right exhausting to have a favourite. And I also didnt think I could like another singer as I did Archie. But then along came Anoop Desai. With his nondescript hair, crazy eyebrows, khaki shorts, and jandals. Darn him.

My best girlfriends should know who he looks like just by the eyebrows. haha. But its not just about the looks, he can sing too. Oh how he can. Below are some of my favourite clips of him singing with his acapella group. Please at least watch one to see his serious chops.

10 days into 2009.

Is it too late to wish a happy new year to everyone? Probably. 2009 hasnt been kind to me yet. But it seemed stupid, even childish, to whine about trivial matters that happened in my life now when our relatives in Gaza are suffering through more serious, incomparable experiences - a prayer if you will. So I will refrain myself from complaining here on out.

Resolution 2009: less no less complaints. and sighings.

Smack me on the head when I start okay. Before you start getting ideas, I mean remind me and not literally smack me, because underneath this strong, steely exterior and muscular frame, I have a low threshold for pain and do cry like a little girl. ;)

Wow, when I dont complain I really have nothing to talk about, lol. My life is not interesting at the moment (not complaining!) but I'll think of something later. Til then.
