Catch-up and Mayonnaise

12:48 PM

Its been a week since Ive been home. And Im back to my usual 24/7 kaftan wearing ways. Dad says I look like a maid but darn if its not the most comfortable piece of clothing ever, followed by harem pants but I digress.

Its been a quiet week just hanging out at home de-stressing. Everyday I wake up at 630 am (not gonna last) to chat with the rents while they get ready for work. Ironing dad's shirt, choosing mum's tudung that matches her baju kurung and ironing that too. Then I'll sit and watch her wear make-up. Breathing in her perfume brings me back to when I was little and gives me this sense of comfort. Breakfast at the dining table was always what I missed most when Im away.

After theyre gone, Ill do the normal chores like laundry and feeding the kitties. Which are really my fishies. I dont know why I call them kitties, but yes I talk to them. Theyve gotten so big since last time. Although Anoop, my favourite blind fish is still much smaller than its peers. Hence the only fish I can tell apart and has a name. :")

Since school isnt out yet, Im home alone for the day without the brothers to play ps with or to bully. Theres hardly anything good on tv so Im rewatching my Gilmore Girls complete dvd set again. I watch the first season every year to watch dreamy Dean and skip second and third season because I cant stand Jesse. When mum comes home, she'll join me in front of the tv and everytime Lorelai goes into a rant, she'll start her own. T.T

The danger of watching tv for some reason is I'll eat at the same time. The house is filled with food omg. The upstairs' fridge is running just to store chocolates alone. And otak-otak. But mostly chocolates. There were no one home to eat them before but thats no longer a problem. Come february the fridge is gonna be wiped clean Im sure. =.= The parents have been satisfying my every culinary whim too (for now). Think Ive had most of the things Ive been wanting to eat. In just a week, impressive huh.

By 10pm Im already in bed and rereading Eclipse. I really need to get to a bookstore soon. I swear those Twilight series, so much talk, so little action that it'll put me to sleep after a couple of pages. Serve its purpose as bedtime reading I suppose.

Thats pretty much it for now. Im looking forward to apply for parttime jobs if I can muster enough attention to finish my CV. If not I'll just follow dad around on his outstation meetings like I do every year. Last year we stayed at 8 different hotels in 2 weeks, I practically lived in my luggage, not sure we can top that again though.

Anyway, another year is coming to a circle. Strange how easy it is to fall back to the normal routine I do every year. Sometimes it feels like I never left at all.

So I did it. I bungy jumped. Honestly I thought it would be scarier than it really was. Haha the video below shows me screaming like a girl so take that claim with a grain of salt. I never pegged myself as a screamer but there you go. Feel free to laugh at my expense. I insist. :)

Day after tomorrow
10:09 PM

Darn so many to pack, so little time. Its already been a year since I last went through this SAME phase. Whaaa? Time sure flies huh.

Things to do by tomorrow night (not in order):

1. Shop for gifts
2. Fold laundry
3. Pack stuff into boxes
4. Look for boxes -.-
4. Copy songs and pics from pc into laptop
5. Pack stuff into luggage
6. Take stuff downstairs to 026
7. Play fireworks
8. Clear stuff from the studio
9. Clean the room and bathroom some

Hold on. Its been a year, really? Hmm.

ETA: 3 hours to flight. Fortunately managed to do all the above. Even had a few hours of sleep last night. Everything is possible when you put your mind to it and have lovely lovely friends like mine. See you guys on the other side of the pacific. XXxxX :)

Are you questioning my bad-assness?

Have you seen my serious rocker face?

Haha. Last night was halloween but we had our own costume party a week earlier. My friends and I went as KISS. It was fun, everyone who came went all out in dressing up. A lot of creative costumes - Samurai X, the Joker, Invisible Man, Corpse Bride to name a few. I almost won the best costume but lost in a catwalk to a Pharaoh. But of course anyone would lose to a pharaoh.

The last time I dressed up for halloween was third grade. Went trick or treating around the block with my two brothers. One was a power ranger, the other as one of the Bulls. I had on a pair of frayed jeans shorts, a headband and called myself pocahontas. Pocahontas with a shorter hair-do.

Hmm. Come to think of it third grade was also the last time I had bangs. Have always avoided it after I had my own say on what haircut I want for myself. But yesterday I went and had them cut again. Now I remember the reason why I hated having fringe in the first place. Theyre dang annoying. However my first thought when I looked in the mirror: ooohh Jessica Alba in Honey. Second: hmm Colbie Caillat. Hahaha, budget. Very the. I kid, I kid, they are LOADS times prettier. T.T

Proof that sometimes Im still a third grader and Paint is addictive -.-

Dork in distress

If I could be anything, I think I'd be a pretty stealthy ninja. Pretty and stealthy. I'd rob Giapo, Kapiti and Movenpick, Wendy's and Baskin Robbins. Maybe New Zealand Natural. I'd steal ice cream and hugs. And attention. Because that's how I roll.

You think you know me, but think harder. *KEBABOOM disapparate into dust mysteriously*

Oh I occasionally speak Harry Potter.-.-
